Chania’s Traditional Strata continues with “Strata of Kisamos” walk on Tuesday
The Municipality of Chania’s Traditional Strata event is continuing for its fifth year, bringing traditional culture and activity to the evenings and alleys of the Old Town and the Venetian Harbour of Chania.
On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 20:00, the Cultural Educational Association “O Gigenis” will present the “Strata of Kisamos,” according to the Municipality of Chania.
The walk will begin at the Naval Museum of Crete. A designated stop is set at the Yali Mosque, with the final gathering point at the square of the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary (the Metropolis) in Chania.
Members of the traditional association will present the experience to visitors attending the event, drawing on local tradition, according to the announcement.
