The story of Dourakis Winery began in the early 1980s with founder Andreas Dourakis, who officially opened it to the public in 1988. Initially starting with just a few barrels in an old shed for storing wine, the winery has evolved into a fully operational solar-powered boutique establishment. It now boasts extensive vineyards and a large underground wine cellar.
