K-pop tribute show 'K-Pop Fever' plays Heraklion on September 9

K-Pop Fever, a tribute show touring from London, performs at Theatro Technopolis in Heraklion on September 9, marking the production’s first appearance in Crete. The concert features 12 singers and dancers performing choreographed sets of K-pop hits with staged visuals.

The Heraklion date is one of four stops on the show’s current Greek tour. According to the organizers, the tour also includes a performance on September 6 at Moni Lazariston in Thessaloniki, and two dates at Technopolis in Athens: September 5, listed as a rescheduled date, and September 8, which is sold out.

The show’s set list draws on songs by BTS, BLACKPINK, ROSÉ, TWICE, Stray Kids and ATEEZ, along with tracks by the fictional group HUNTR/X from the animated film “KPop Demon Hunters,” organizers said.

K-pop’s growing footprint in Greece

Organizers describe K-pop as more than a music genre, pointing to its combination of sound, fashion, choreography and social media engagement as reasons for its global following. In Greece, fan communities have for years organized dance workshops and competitions tied to the genre, according to the report.

That momentum was visible in May 2026, when the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Greece organized the K-Pop World Festival in Greece at the Kolonos Theatre in Athens, held as part of the This is Athens Festival to highlight cultural exchange between the two countries.
