More than 1,700 tourists arrive in Souda aboard cruise ship Marella Discovery

The cruise ship Marella Discovery docked at the port of Souda in Chania early on Friday morning, carrying a total of 1,758 passengers, according to cretaone.gr.

Cruise arrivals in Chania have continued through September, with tourists reaching the city throughout the month. Visitors from the Marella Discovery will have the opportunity to join guided tours of the city center, among other experiences in Crete.

The tours will take visitors through the historic center, one of several stops highlighted among places in Crete popular with cruise passengers.

The ship arrived from Limassol, Cyprus, and is expected to depart in the afternoon for Piraeus, cretaone.gr reported.
