Heraklion postpones "Dancing for Life" event due to bad weather

The Heraklion Association for the Support of Autism Rights (ΗΡΥ.Δ.Α.) has postponed its “Dancing for Life” event, which had been scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, at the Nikos Kazantzakis Garden Theatre in Heraklion, the association announced.

According to ΗΡΥ.Δ.Α., adverse weather conditions made it impossible to hold the event safely, despite what the organizers described as extensive efforts by organizers, participants and volunteers to carry it out as planned.

The association thanked everyone who had expressed interest in taking part, supporting or attending the event, saying the response from the public, dance schools and collaborators reflected the strength of community engagement and inclusion.

ΗΡΥ.Δ.Α. said the event will be held at a later date, which will be announced officially in due course. The organizers said they remain committed to staging the evening in the manner and quality it deserves.

Further details on rescheduled community events in Crete are typically announced once confirmed by local organizers.
