Cruise ship Sun Princess brings 4,347 passengers to Souda, Chania

The cruise ship Sun Princess arrives at Souda, near Chania, on Tuesday morning carrying 4,347 passengers, according to cretaone.gr.

The ship’s passengers are expected to tour Chania during the stopover, the report said.

Frequent cruise arrivals in Souda

Cruise ships have been calling regularly at Souda in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the Marella Discovery brought more than 1,700 tourists to the same port.

Passengers arriving on large cruise ships typically spend the day visiting Chania’s old town and nearby attractions. Some join organized tours or independent excursions, which are listed among the region’s Experiences in Crete.
