Cruise ship Mein Schiff 5 docks in Souda with 2,643 passengers

The cruise ship Mein Schiff 5, operated by TUI Cruises, arrived at Souda port early on Thursday, October 15, carrying 2,643 passengers, as part of a scheduled call.
The vessel is on an Eastern Mediterranean cruise that began and will end in Heraklion. Its seven-day itinerary, running from October 9 to October 16, includes stops in Istanbul, Mykonos, Piraeus and Souda before the ship returns to Heraklion. The Souda call is similar to other recent cruise arrivals in the region, including three cruise ships that brought thousands of passengers to Chania in a single day.
Before reaching Souda, the ship’s previous stop was Piraeus. It is scheduled to depart Souda at 19:00, heading next to Heraklion, where it is expected to arrive early Friday morning.
