Crete sees sunshine and rising temperatures up to 23C on Monday, Meteo forecasts

Crete is forecast to see sunshine and rising temperatures on Monday, October 19, with highs reaching 21 to 23 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteo weather service.
Meteo’s forecast calls for high temperatures and sunshine across the country, with only scattered local cloud. During the night and early morning, visibility is expected to be limited in many areas, with fog forming in places. In Crete specifically, overnight and early-morning lows are expected to start at around 11 degrees Celsius before climbing to the forecast daytime highs.
Winds across both the Aegean and the Ionian seas are expected to blow from northwesterly directions at up to 4 Beaufort, Meteo said.
Forecast for other regions
According to the same forecast, other parts of the country will also see milder, sunnier conditions. Western Macedonia is expected to range from 0 to 17-18 degrees Celsius, the rest of Macedonia and Thrace from 4 to 21-22 and locally 23 degrees, Epirus from 6 to 21-23, Thessaly from 5 to 22-24 degrees, and the remaining mainland areas from 6 to 22-23 and locally 24 degrees. The Ionian Islands are forecast at 9 to 21-23 degrees, the North and Northeast Aegean islands at 8 to 21-22 degrees, and the rest of the Aegean islands, including Crete, at 11 to 21-23 degrees Celsius.
In Attica, Meteo forecasts sunshine with a few scattered clouds, with locally reduced visibility overnight and early in the morning. Winds there are expected to blow mainly from the south at 2-3 Beaufort, with temperatures ranging from 13 to 22-23 degrees Celsius. In the Thessaloniki region, a few clouds are expected, along with reduced overnight and early-morning visibility; winds will blow mainly from the northwest at 2-3 Beaufort, with temperatures in the city centre ranging from 11 to 22 degrees Celsius.
The forecast follows a gradual improvement in Crete’s weather reported over the weekend, as the island moves from unsettled autumn conditions toward a milder, sunnier spell. Similar sunny outlooks have also been issued for the island’s midweek forecast, including a sunny forecast for Wednesday with scattered afternoon cloud.
