Chania’s Traditional Strata concludes 2026 season with music and awards at Venetian Harbour

The Traditional Strata, a cultural program organized by the Municipality of Chania, concluded its 2026 run at the city’s Venetian Harbour, the same site where the festival began, according to Flashnews.

The Cretan Music Association of Chania Prefecture “O Charchalis” presented a musical event titled “Sounds of Crete,” described as a musical journey dedicated to the sounds, traditional instruments and living cultural heritage of Crete.

During the closing event, awards were presented to the heads of the traditional associations that took part in the Municipality of Chania’s Traditional Strata 2026, marking the end of a year of activities dedicated to Cretan tradition and culture.
