At our farm, every child and adult will get the chance of becoming a stock breeder and a cheese maker for a day!
You’ll meet all the domestic animals of our farm, our goats, sheep, dogs, cats, hens and geese, partridges as well as our colorful peacocks. You could feed, pet and take photos with them.
Thereafter, you could watch and take part in the two distinct ways of milking goats and sheep: the traditional way, using only the hands, as well as the modern way of milking. You will be informed on how to breed and care for our animals, their usefulness and all the products, which we’re able to produce, using their milk.
Next stop is our family cheese cottage, where you’ll get useful information on the production of traditional Cretan cheeses and desserts, which we produce using the milk from our farm, while at the same time, together we will make one of them.
Upon fulfilling this experience, a special treat awaits you outside of our cheese cottage. You taste our Feta, the Tiromalama-a local goat’s cheese-, our handmade puddings made from sheep and goat milk. Traditional cretan raki and wine couldn’t be missing!
Our farm is a space with the magnificent view of the Cretan mountains around, a family space with Cretan hospitality standards, a space which waits for you!
