Free music night set for Knossos Park in Heraklion on August 7

A free music event will be held at Knossos Park in Heraklion on Friday, August 7, 2026, starting at 8 p.m., according to an announcement about the event.

The evening will feature a program of popular Greek folk and “entechno” songs performed by three musicians: Dimitra Kamzela on vocals, Yiannis Paximadakis on bouzouki and vocals, and Nikos Stamatakis on guitar.

The announcement described the event as a chance for the public to enjoy the performance “under the summer sky” in one of Heraklion’s neighborhoods, adding that collaboration among local organizations “creates beautiful moments that strengthen social cohesion and offer quality entertainment” for residents and visitors.

Admission to the event is free.
