Platanias holds free concerts and shows through August 25 for 16th cultural festival

The Municipality of Platanias is continuing its 16th annual cultural festival with a series of free events across its local communities through August 25, the municipality said. The program, titled “Cultural Summer 2026 – 16th Festival Land-Culture-Tourism,” is organized by the Municipality of Platanias and its Public Benefit Enterprise, in co-organization with the Region of Crete and with the cooperation of local councils and cultural associations.
According to the municipality, the summer events have drawn strong attendance from both children and adults so far. Admission to all events remains free.
