This is the ideal diving course for those who want to try scuba diving but do not have a diving certificate. Enjoy a pre-dive lesson and always be accompanied by a certified instructor. Begin your day with the basic theory on diving and the skills necessary to do so. You will then move on to real-life diving under the supervision of a certified instructor. During the dive, you will have the opportunity to explore the bottom of the sea in Agia Pelagia, learn the basic commands, and get the chance to observe up-close the fish and sea creatures living near the seabed.

Following pick-up from your hotel in the city, head to the dive center in Almyrida to meet your PADI instructors for a pre-dive theory lesson. Benefit from 1 instructor per 2 adult students and 1 instructor for every child for maximum attention. Your friendly instructor will be with you throughout for your comfort and safety. Once you feel confident, dive to a depth of 8 meters with your instructor to marvel at the marine life beneath the surface of the sea. What about a daily fishing tour combined with swimming in crystal clear blue sea? Starting off at a renowned fishing village, you will board a small boat and when you are out in the open sea a local fisherman will show you various fishing techniques. Then it is time to swim in clear crystal sea and enjoy the serenity of the place. The tour ends with a delicious meal onboard during our return to the port. The excursion can take place at different times of the day (06:00-11:00 / 09:00-14:00 / 12:00-17:00 / 16:00-21:00). The calculated time includes the transfer time to the boat and return.

I am also the leader of the dancing group of Arolithos Village and the dancing teacher for kids and adults of the local cultural association of the area where I live. I am a very good friend of Michalis who is the main host of this experience and one of the owners of Arolithos Village. I collaborate with him because he loves to dance and culture as I do. Very often Evi one of the best Cretan dancers in the area of Tilissos also helps me to realize the dancing lessons. As a professional teacher of dances, dressed in traditional uniform, I will show you the first steps of popular dances of Crete and Greece. Sousta, Zorba the Greek, and much more. We will have also the chance to do a tour of Arolithos Village and show you shortly the Museum, the old houses and the rest of the village. You will enjoy a welcome drink on the terrace with the panoramic view. In the end, I will offer you a copy of a CD with Greek and Cretan music and your dancing certificate. Chrysoula, a passionate cook and proud native of a charming Cretan village, invites you to her Home, to discover the secrets of traditional Cretan cuisine using fresh products sourced from her family’s farm or local farmers. Our lessons take place in my house and the food is baked in an old fashioned wood oven. The menu can also be adapted for our vegetarian friends or those with allergies. Your visit to our house includes a warm welcome with Greek coffee or herbal tea, homemade lemonade, ladokouloura.
