Hop onboard a speedboat that is built for a swift and steady navigation and set off from Limeniskos over sparkling waters to the island of Gramvousa. Feel the wind in your hair get closer to the island’s distinctive cliffs which rise dramatically from the water.

Admire views a Venetian fortress perched atop the island’s highest point. From a distance, appreciate the strategic position of the fortress and imagine its historical significance. Once on land, you can explore Gramvousa Island during an hour-long stop.

Go for a 20-minute hike to the fortress, take a stroll on the beach, or look for the local flora and fauna that form the unique ecosystem of the island. Get back on the boat for the transfer to the mesmerizing waters of the Balos Lagoon.

Book a private rigid inflatable boat (RIB) vessel and an experienced skipper to explore the western parts of Crete with your family or friends. Departing from Kissamos Port, board your boat and ride the waves to the famous Balos Lagoon and to the historic Gamvousa Island. The skipper will take you on an adventurous or relaxed ride (according to your preferences) and provide drinks and snacks on the way.

At your first stop, Balos, you’ll anchor and explore the area’s white sand beaches and vivid turquoise waters for 1.5 hours. You’ll then head to Gramvousa, an island with a medieval fortress at the top of the hill. There, you can sunbathe, snorkel, and swim for another 1.5 hours before returning to Kissamos.

Snorkeling Adventure Program:

Pick-Up or Meet-Up:
You will either be picked up from your accommodation or meet at our dive center, where you will be greeted by your friendly guides.
Preparation at Dive Center:
Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome and an overview of the day’s itinerary. Your instructor will help you to select your snorkeling gear, ensuring a comfortable fit for the adventure ahead.
Head to the Boat:
After gearing up, we will all board on boat, where we’ll meet the rest of the group and our guides.
As we set sail, relax, and soak in the scenic views of the coastline.
Reach First Snorkeling Spot:
Arriving at our first snorkeling spot, your experienced guides will take the time to explain and demonstrate the proper use of the gear on snorkeling equipment and safety procedures. You will be briefed on the marine life you can expect to encounter and any safety guidelines specific to the location.
You will then have the chance to snorkel for about 45′, exploring the Mediterranean sea.
Break with Light Snack and Water:
After our snorkeling session, you will enjoy a refreshing break onboard the boat.
Our crew will provide a light snack and water, allowing guests to recharge before the next spot.
Second Snorkeling Spot:
We’ll then journey to our second snorkeling spot, offering a different spot.
You will have around 45′ time to snorkel, swim,or relax on the boat and marvel at the beauty of the environment.
Return to Dive Center:
With memories of an unforgettable snorkeling experience, we’ll cruise back to the dive center.
For those who arranged transportation with us, we’ll ensure a safe drop-off at your accommodation. Otherwise, you are free to depart at your leisure.
The duration of the guided tour lasts approximately 3-4h.
