Arrive to Kissamos Port by car or regional bus and board the sailboat “Izabela” with the grey bimini. Enjoy the company of only your private group and the crew and skipper as you cruise along the coast to Balos Lagoon and then to Imeri Gramvousa Island.
After about 1.5 hours of sailing, reach the Balos lagoon, home to one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Swim and snorkel in the turquoise water, or treat yourself to some relaxing and sunbathing on the white sand for the next two hours.

If you’d like to snap an amazing photo of the Balos Lagoon, you will have the opportunity from the top of Gramvousa after a leisurely, 20-minute hike. At the top, built into the rock, you will spot the Venetian Castle, one of the most famous fortresses in Crete.
The views from here are seriously breathtaking. After a full day of sun and sea, your skipper will start the journey back to Kissamos Port. Onboard, rest or nap in the covered cabin, hang out in the covered dining area, and utilize the bathroom with shower.

After we pick you up from various locations around Chania we will drive through West Crete until we reach the Kissamos port. From there we will sail to the port in Gramvousa, passing by the huge cave believed to be the ancient shipyard of Tarsanas. At the end of the Gulf you will notice an impressive geological phenomenon caused by catastrophic earthquakes that took place more than 2000 years ago.
After approximately 1 hour, the boat arrives at the port of Gramvousa. On top of a steep rock on the highest point of the island, lays the Venetian castle built during the late 16th century. Surrounded by a wall that still stands today, it has a roughly triangular shape and is rumored to house hidden pirate treasures from eras long gone. It is well worth the 10 minute hike it takes to get there.
You will have plenty of time to explore the island and swim in its coast before we board the boat that will take us to the Balos lagoon. Fantastic azure waters fill the lagoon, creating a sense of serenity and idle natural beauty. Make sure to have a camera with you and take photos that will make even your most well-traveled friends jealous!
At around 16:30 we will board the boat back to the port of Kissamos and eventually return by bus to the designated spots you were picked up from.
Join us for a unique experience to snorkel towards an all-year-round massive waterfall. Drinking water bursts out of the wall making this an incredible place to visit. In this experience we organize transport to the location, and we have a short hike to the water stream where it’s time to get wet. In the wetsuits we follow the stream upwards until a beautiful, but we mean, beautiful natural lagoon. From here we take the snorkels and swim further into the cave and reach the big waterfall.

Arrive at the small port of Gramvousa and enjoy the magical environment created by nature, legends, and history. See the beach with a shipwreck and the famous castle of Gramvousa, which is the highest point on the island. Alternatively, you can swim in the area next to the Church of Agioi Apostoloi.
After a stop at Gramvousa, get back on the boat to head to Balos Lagoon.
Balos beach is protected by the Natura 2000 program. This year the ferry cannot dock at the beach. The ferry anchors about 10 meters from the beach for swimming.
After, you will head back to the port of Kissamos.
